I'm helping out with a local production of The Wizard of Oz as a spotlight operator, so naturally I have every single one of those songs stuck in my head. Yes, this is the same one I auditioned for at the end of February. I don't think they remember my audition. Luckily.

But anyway, tonight was opening night, although it felt less exciting to me than openings usually do because Cabrillo has previews with audiences, so we'd already shown it to some people. Still, I'm glad rehearsals are over. It's been interesting watching the show pull itself together over the last two weeks since I started showing up. It's also nice to know that even professional companies like Cabrillo Stage make mistakes, just like my high school did. And since I'm on a headset, I can hear the stage manager talk about every single little thing that goes wrong. Heh, I'm far too fond of gossip...

On a completely unrelated note, I still haven't seen Half-Blood Prince because I'm not done re-reading the series. I'm just over 200 pages into Order of the Phoenix.I imagine I'll be done reading HBP by Wednesday at the latest, and then I can watch the movie. I am kind of annoyed that practically everyone's going to have seen it before me, but that can't be helped.
